This kit combines the powerful lysis capabilities of NAPzol Reagent with the column-based purification protocol, enabling the purification of ultrapure DNA-free total RNA in less than 30 min, even from challenging samples like fibrous tissues. NAPzol Reagent is a monophasic solution containing phenol, guanidine salts, and other proprietary components that aid in isolating RNA of varying sizes. It preserves RNA integrity while lysing cells, dissolving cell components, and effectively inhibiting RNase activity during homogenisation or lysis. The NAPzol RNA Purification Kit supplies all the necessary reagents and an optimised protocol for purifying total RNA. To purify RNA from your sample using the Eazy RNA Purification Kit, begin by lysing the sample with NAPzol Reagent following the provided lysate preparation protocol. Adding chloroform to the lysate and centrifuging it separates the solution into an upper aqueous phase containing the RNA and a lower phenol-containing organic phase. Transfer the upper aqueous phase to a new tube, add ethanol, and pass through a Spin column. After washing the RNA to remove contaminants, elute the purified RNA in Elution buffer or RNase-Free Water for various downstream applications, including gene expression studies or real-time quantitative RT-PCR (qRT-PCR).
