Description
NAP’s 5X DNA Loading Buffer: Blue is used to prepare DNA samples before loading them onto agarose or polyacrylamide gels. It contains Bromophenol Blue to track DNA migration during electrophoresis. It also contains EDTA, which binds divalent metal ions and effectively inhibits metal-dependent nucleases. In 1% agarose gels, Bromophenol Blue comigrates with approximately 300 bp fragments.
